A couple weeks ago, we announced our Accelerator Blocks to help further simplify the AI development process to support our mission to democratize access to AI. Today we’re excited to double down on that effort, by announcing a new service that will completely remove the friction from our customers who are looking to integrate AI into their existing business strategy. Gradient’s AI Development Lab offers enterprise organizations a white glove, end-to-end development service to help build private, custom LLMs and AI copilots that are purpose-built for their business needs. The process is simple, requires minimal effort from our customers, and consists of the following phases:
Throughout this process, our team will work with you extensively to customize your model from full pre-training to fine-tuning, supervised tuning, direct preference optimization (DPO), and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF). While we will be using your private data to tune your model on Gradient, your data will safely reside in a private environment of your choice (e.g. VCP or on-premise) - maintaining compliance requirements at the highest standards including SOC-2, GDPR, and HIPAA.
Choose From Any Model: Select from any foundational model of your choice, from small 1-7bn parameter models to large scale, sophisticated models like Llama2 70B, and Mixtral 8x7bn MOE.
White Glove Experience: Our applied scientists and researchers will work directly with your team to help identify the right data, objectives, and development process that can meet your needs. You can think of our team as an extension of your company, until the projects complete.
Best-In-Class Reasoning Abilities: Your custom LLM will be able to understand best practices in logical reasoning. Similar to our industry leading LLMs, we’ll ensure that your custom LLM evaluates all possibilities before selecting the best option, is able to course-correct by reflecting on it’s answer, and provides proper citation of it’s sources every step of the way.
